What your numbers mean
It finds a dip and wants to spend $150 on Bitcoin — goes through, inside your $250 cap.
It really likes a coin and wants $500 — blocked. No single trade may pass $250, however good it looks.
Worst case for one position: a $250 buy that falls 12% is sold automatically — about $30 lost, not the whole amount.
And on the worst day imaginable, buying stops once $1,000 has been spent — no matter what the market does.
