Risk notice
Please read this before you connect an account. It is short on purpose, and we mean every line of it.
Draft — not final
This page is a plain-English draft written to be reviewed by a lawyer before Trading Cockpit accepts any customers. It is not a finished legal agreement yet.
You can lose money
Trading involves real risk. Prices can fall quickly and by a lot, and you can end up with less than you started with. It is possible to lose everything you put in. Only trade money you can afford to lose completely without it changing your life.
Nothing here is advice
Carefultrade is a software tool. We are not an investment adviser, a broker, or a financial planner, and we are not acting in your interest the way an adviser would. We don't know your income, your debts, your taxes, or your goals.
Nothing on this website or in the software is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. If you want advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed professional.
You are in control, and responsible
You use your own exchange account and your own keys. You choose your settings, your limits, and whether trades happen automatically. Every trade the software places is placed under the permissions and rules you set up. Those trades are your trades.
Safety limits reduce risk — they don't remove it
Spending caps, protective stops, and the stop-everything switch are designed to keep losses smaller and more predictable. They cannot promise a profit, and they cannot protect you in every situation.
In a fast-moving market, a sale may happen at a worse price than the limit you set. This is normal and it can happen to anyone trading anywhere.
Technology can fail
Software, internet connections, and exchanges all go down sometimes. An outage can mean a trade is missed, delayed, or repeated. We work hard to prevent this, but we cannot guarantee the service is always available or always correct.
Past results don't predict the future
We publish our own results honestly, including bad months. That history shows what happened before. It does not tell you what will happen next, and it is not a promise of any outcome for you.
Crypto has extra risks
Cryptocurrency markets trade around the clock, move sharply, and are less regulated than stock markets. Exchanges can freeze withdrawals, get hacked, or fail. Rules can change.
